Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the MyFuge delivers 6,000 rpm / 2,000 xg performance with near-silent operation — making it one of the most popular mini centrifuges in molecular biology, genomics, and cell biology labs. The C1008-B features a blue lid.
Lid-Operated Start & Stop — No Buttons Required Close the lid and the rotor instantly accelerates to 6,000 rpm. Open the lid and the centrifuge decelerates to a full stop in just one second. No speed settings, timers, or buttons to configure — perfect for rapid, repetitive spin-down tasks during busy bench sessions.
Clik-N-Lok™ Instant Rotor Attachment The MyFuge features Clik-N-Lok™ instant rotor attachment, allowing rotors to be swapped quickly and securely. Rotor removal is assisted by the included rotor removal key, stored conveniently in the base compartment.
Two Rotors Included The C1008-B ships with two rotors to cover a broad range of tube formats right out of the box:
- Microtube rotor: holds 8 × 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes
- PCR rotor: holds 32 × 0.2 mL PCR tubes or 4 × 8-position PCR strip tubes
The PCR rotor, rotor removal key, and 0.5 mL tube adapters all store neatly in a built-in compartment in the base — preventing loss or accidental disposal.
Near-Silent Operation The MyFuge Mini runs nearly silently, making it ideal for shared lab spaces, open-plan environments, and anywhere noise is a concern.
