Deep Well Plates
LIGHT LABS carries a comprehensive selection of deep well plates for high-throughput sample storage, bacterial culture, compound library management, and automated liquid handling applications. Our 96-well deep well plate lineup includes 1mL, 2mL, and 2.4mL well volume options in square well and round well configurations, available in polypropylene construction for compatibility with a wide range of organic solvents, buffers, and biological samples. Square well geometry maximizes well volume and minimizes cross-contamination risk between adjacent wells, making square well plates the preferred format for bacterial overnight cultures, DNA extraction, and compound storage applications. Round well plates are well suited for liquid handling robotics and applications requiring consistent pipetting geometry. We carry deep well plates from CELLTREAT Scientific and NEST Biotechnology, both manufactured from virgin polypropylene and certified RNase-free, DNase-free, and free of cytotoxic substances. Plates are available in bulk packaging for high-volume users and individually wrapped sterile formats for cell-based and contamination-sensitive workflows. Compatible sealing options including adhesive aluminum foil seals and pierceable films for robotic automation are available in our Adhesive Films category.
