The C1008-G model features a distinctive neon green lid.
Lid-Operated Start & Stop — No Buttons Required Operation couldn't be simpler: close the lid and the rotor instantly accelerates to 6,000 rpm. Open the lid and the centrifuge decelerates to a complete stop in just one second. There are no speed controls, timers, or buttons to configure — making the MyFuge ideal for rapid, repetitive spin-down tasks during busy bench work.
Clik-N-Lok™ Instant Rotor Attachment The MyFuge features Clik-N-Lok™ instant rotor attachment allowing rotors to be swapped quickly and securely without tools — except for removal, where the included rotor key is used.
Two Rotors Included The MyFuge C1008-G comes with two rotors to handle a broad range of tube formats right out of the box:
- Microtube rotor: holds 8 × 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes
- PCR rotor: holds 32 × 0.2 mL PCR tubes or 4 × 8-position PCR strip tubes
The PCR tube rotor stores conveniently in the base to ensure it does not get lost, misplaced, or accidentally discarded. The rotor removal key and 0.5 mL tube adapters are also stored in this compartment.
Near-Silent Operation The MyFuge Mini delivers near-silent operation, making it well-suited for shared lab spaces, open-plan environments, and any setting where noise is a concern.
