The Benchmark Scientific C3303-6HP Sprint™ 6H Plus is Benchmark's premium clinical centrifuge — featuring a 6-position horizontal swing-out rotor, digital speed control in rpm or rcf (up to 4,000 rpm / 2,504 xg), adjustable acceleration/deceleration, and a safety imbalance detection system. Designed for clinical and research laboratories running coagulation studies, platelet-poor plasma (PPP) preparation, urinalysis, and other applications requiring flat-line horizontal separation, the Sprint 6H Plus delivers reliable, reproducible results in a compact 13 × 16 × 10.5 inch footprint. 6-Position Horizontal Swing-Out Rotor — Flat-Line Separation Prior to centrifugation, tubes are loaded vertically. Once the centrifuge starts, tubes swing to a horizontal position, providing the flat-line separation that is commonly preferred for further analysis. San Diego Scale Horizontal separation is the preferred method for coagulation studies, PPP preparation, and urinalysis — where a flat, clearly defined interface between sample layers is critical for accurate downstream analysis. The rotor accepts all common blood collection tubes up to 15mL and can be easily removed from the instrument for quick, thorough cleaning between runs.

Up to 4,000 rpm / 2,504 xg — Premium Speed for Clinical Applications The Sprint 6H Plus delivers maximum speeds of 4,000 rpm (2,504 xg) — an upgrade over the standard Sprint 6H — in precise 100 rpm / 100 rcf increments. Speed is digitally set and displayed in either rpm or rcf with automatic conversion, eliminating manual calculation and ensuring the correct centrifugal force is applied for every protocol.

Digital Controls — Virtually No Setup Required With intuitive controls and a large LED display, virtually no programming or setup is required prior to starting a cycle. Simply select the run time and press START. The safety lid-lock is engaged and the rotor quickly and smoothly accelerates to 4,000 rpm. Once the run time is completed (or the STOP button is pressed) the rotor comes to a complete stop and the lid lock is disengaged for removal of samples. DSCBalances The backlit display allows easy reading in low-light environments such as clinical labs and point-of-care settings.

Adjustable Acceleration and Deceleration The Sprint 6H Plus includes adjustable acceleration and deceleration rates — allowing gentle ramp-up and ramp-down for fragile samples where abrupt speed changes could disrupt the separation or damage cellular components.

Safety Imbalance Detection — Automatic Shutdown The built-in imbalance detection system automatically shuts off the centrifuge if an imbalanced load is detected during a run — protecting both the samples and the instrument from damage. The safety lid-lock will not release until the rotor has come to a complete stop, preventing accidental exposure to a spinning rotor.

Momentary Operation Mode A momentary (pulse) mode allows quick, brief centrifugation at full speed with a single button press — ideal for collecting small volumes to the bottom of tubes or for brief pulse-spin applications in both clinical and research settings.

Broad Tube Compatibility Designed for use with 15ml tubes (conical or round bottom), 10ml tubes (16 x 100mm), and smaller tubes (12 x 75mm and 12 x 100mm), which can be centrifuged using the optional adapters (item: C3100-ADP; not included). Test Equipment Depot
