The CELLTREAT® 229701 is a complete 150mL vacuum filter system featuring a 0.45µm polyethersulfone (PES) membrane — supplied as a complete unit including the bottle top filter, solution storage bottle, and cap. The all-in-one format eliminates the need to source a compatible bottle separately, making it ideal for labs that need a ready-to-use filtration system out of the box. Designed for solution clarification, particle removal, and general vacuum filtration of aqueous laboratory solutions, the 229701 delivers high flow rates with low protein binding in a compact 150mL format suited for small-volume applications.
Complete Filter System — Bottle, Filter, and Cap Included Unlike standalone bottle top filters, the 229701 is a complete filter system: the bottle top filter, solution storage bottle, and cap are all included and ready to use immediately. The curved solution bottle design provides easy handling, and the 45mm threaded neck is compatible with all standard bottle top filters if the filter assembly ever needs to be replaced separately.
0.45µm PES Membrane — High Flow, Low Binding The 50mm diameter polyethersulfone (PES) membrane delivers high flow rates with minimal protein binding — making the 229701 the right choice for solution clarification and particle removal from protein-containing solutions, buffers, media, and other aqueous samples where product recovery matters. The 0.45µm pore size removes particulates and larger contaminants while allowing proteins and smaller molecules to pass freely.
Easy Identification and Traceability The housing is boldly printed with membrane material and pore size for instant identification. Molded graduations on the bottle top provide easy volume monitoring throughout filtration. Every unit is printed with lot number and expiration date for traceability in regulated and quality-controlled environments. An improved filter support structure provides faster flow rates and even distribution across the membrane surface.
Angled Hose Barb — Stable, Versatile Vacuum Connection The angled hose barb adapter fits three different hose and tubing diameters and prevents the filter from tipping during vacuum filtration — reducing spill risk and improving stability on the benchtop.
Sterile, Individually Packaged — Class 100,000 Cleanroom Manufactured Each filter system is sterile and individually packaged. Manufactured from USP Class VI virgin polypropylene in a Class 100,000 cleanroom. Every case ships with a CELLTREAT® Quality Certificate covering lot number, sterility assurance level and dosage, and endotoxin/pyrogen-free assurance.
