The MTC Bio OptiWell™ D3096-KFC is a sterile, pre-paired combo pack containing one 96-well deep well plate and one matching tip comb per set — packaged in cases of 50 sets (10 bags of 5). Engineered as a cost-effective, high-performance alternative consumable for KingFisher™ magnetic particle processing instruments, the OptiWell combo delivers consistent results in automated nucleic acid purification and related molecular biology workflows.

Deep Well Plate — 96-Well, 2.2mL, V-Bottom The OptiWell deep well plate is useful for bacterial cultures, centrifugation (up to 4,000 × g), and general sample storage. Each plate features:
- 96 square wells with conical V-bottoms
- 2.2 mL working volume per well
- 44.2 mm well height for deep-well magnetic processing
- Black alphanumeric printing for easy plate orientation and sample tracking
- Virgin, medical-grade polypropylene construction with minimal liquid retention
- Compatible with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film
Tip Combs — Low-Binding Medical-Grade Polypropylene Designed for optimal performance in magnetic particle-based protocols, these tip combs are ideal for DNA and RNA extraction, viral RNA isolation, immunoprecipitations, and nucleic acid quantification. I The low-binding polypropylene surface minimizes sample loss and non-specific binding, ensuring maximum recovery from magnetic bead-based purification workflows.
Manufacturing & Quality Standards All plates are produced in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility and are ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 compliant. All plates are certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. Sterilized by gamma irradiation in accordance with ISO 13485.
