Pure•Amp™ PCR Plates — 96-Well & 384-Well
LIGHT LABS carries the complete MTC Bio Pure•Amp™ line of PCR plates — precision-manufactured 96-well and 384-well plates designed for compatibility with the broadest range of thermal cyclers and real-time qPCR instruments in the industry. All Pure•Amp™ PCR plates are certified free of RNase, DNase, DNA, and PCR inhibitors, manufactured from heat-resistant medical-grade polypropylene, and held to tight dimensional tolerances with ultra-thin walls for optimal thermal transfer and consistent amplification results across every well.
0.2mL Standard PCR Plates — 96-Well Pure•Amp™ 0.2mL 96-well PCR plates are designed for compatibility with most popular standard thermal cyclers including ABI, GeneAmp, Prism, Bio-Rad, MJ Research, and Eppendorf instruments. Available in four skirting configurations to match your instrument's plate handling requirements:
- P9602-N — Non-skirted, 96 x 0.2mL — the most universally compatible format for standard thermal cyclers
- P9602-NW — Non-skirted, WHITE wells, 96 x 0.2mL — white well surface enhances fluorescence reflectivity for qPCR applications
- P9602-S — Semi-skirted, 96 x 0.2mL — provides added structural rigidity for robotic liquid handling
- P9602-SRR — Semi-skirted with raised rim (ABI® type), 96 x 0.2mL — designed for instruments requiring the raised-rim format
- P9602-N-T (Sep-R-8™) — Non-skirted with breakaway strips of 8, 96 x 0.2mL — the unique Sep-R-8™ format breaks down into individual strips of 8 tubes for greater control over sample quantity and reduced plastic waste
0.1mL Low-Profile (Fast) PCR Plates — 96-Well Pure•Amp™ 0.1mL low-profile plates are engineered for fast-cycling qPCR instruments that require the low-profile well format for optimal heat transfer at accelerated ramp rates. Available in five configurations:
- P9601-N — Non-skirted, 96 x 0.1mL (low-profile/fast), natural
- P9601-NW — Non-skirted, WHITE wells, 96 x 0.1mL — maximum fluorescence reflectivity for probe-based qPCR
- P9601-S — Semi-skirted, 96 x 0.1mL (low-profile/fast)
- P9601-SW — Semi-skirted, WHITE wells, 96 x 0.1mL — improved fluorescence reflectivity with added structural rigidity
- P9601-SRR — Semi-skirted with raised rim, 96 x 0.1mL — compatible with instruments specifying the raised-rim low-profile format
384-Well PCR Plates Pure•Amp™ 384-well plates are available in two formats for high-throughput screening and large-scale qPCR applications:
- P9384-C — Full-skirt, ABI® type (A24 notch), 384 x 30µL, natural — compatible with ABI QuantStudio 5/6/7/12K Flex, ViiA 7, and 3130xL/3500xL/3730xL instruments
- P9384-W — Full-skirt, Roche® type (A24/P24 notch), 384 x 30µL, white — compatible with Roche LightCycler 480 and 480II (384-well) and Bio-Rad CFX Opus 384
SureFrame™ Two-Component PCR Plates The SureFrame™ two-component PCR plate features a rigid polycarbonate frame combined with polypropylene well tubes — delivering the structural rigidity of a full-skirt plate with the superior thermal performance of thin-walled polypropylene tubes. Available in clear well and white well configurations, compatible with a broad range of thermal cyclers and qPCR instruments.
Instrument Compatibility Pure•Amp™ PCR plates are validated for use with instruments from Applied Biosystems, Bio-Rad, Roche, Eppendorf, Agilent, Stratagene, Benchmark Scientific, and other leading manufacturers. Key compatible instruments include:
- Applied Biosystems: QuantStudio 3/5 Fast (0.1mL), QuantStudio Standard (0.2mL), ViiA 7, StepOne Plus, 7500 FAST, 7900HT
