Simple Single-Buffer Workflow — ~15 Minutes The Zymoclean protocol is designed for speed and simplicity. Add the specially formulated Agarose Dissolving Buffer (ADB) directly to the excised gel slice, dissolve at 37–55°C, transfer to the Zymo-Spin™ Column, wash twice, and elute. No organic extractions, no ethanol precipitation, no lengthy incubations — just clean, ready-to-use DNA in about 15 minutes from gel slice to eluate.
Highly Concentrated Elution in Minimal Volume The Zymo-Spin™ column design permits DNA elution directly into as little as 6 µL of low-salt DNA Elution Buffer or water — yielding highly concentrated DNA ideal for downstream applications such as ligation reactions, next-generation sequencing library preparation, and sequencing, where high DNA concentration in a small volume is critical.
High Recovery Across a Wide Size Range The Zymoclean kit recovers DNA fragments from 50 bp to 23 kb with high efficiency. For fragments between 50 bp and 10 kb, recovery is typically 70–90%.
