The Zymo Research D4010 Genomic DNA Clean & Concentrator-10 (gDCC-10) is a high molecular weight (HMW) DNA clean-up and concentration kit designed for the rapid recovery of ultra-pure, large-sized DNA from enzymatic reactions and impure preparations — in as little as 5 minutes. Unlike standard PCR purification kits, the gDCC-10 uses a specially formulated ChIP DNA Binding Buffer that preserves and efficiently captures large, fragile DNA molecules including genomic DNA, mitochondrial DNA, BAC/PAC plasmids, viral DNA, phage DNA, and whole genome amplified (WGA) DNA. The D4010 is the 25-prep format.

Purpose-Built for High Molecular Weight DNA Standard PCR cleanup kits use binding chemistries optimized for short fragments (typically <10 kb) and can result in significant loss of larger DNA. The Genomic DNA Clean & Concentrator-10 is specifically engineered to recover DNA across a size range of 50 bp to 200 kb — making it the right choice for any application where large, intact genomic DNA must be purified without precipitation steps, chloroform extraction, or organic denaturants.

5-Minute Spin-Column Workflow Simply add the specially formulated ChIP DNA Binding Buffer to a sample and then transfer the mixture to the supplied Zymo-Spin Column. Centrifuge, wash twice, and elute — the entire process takes approximately 5 minutes from sample to ready-to-use DNA. No organic solvents, no precipitation, no lengthy incubations.
