The Zymo Research D4013 DNA Clean & Concentrator™-5 (DCC™-5) is Zymo Research's most popular PCR purification and DNA clean-up kit, delivering ultra-pure, highly concentrated DNA from PCR reactions, enzymatic digestions, and other impure DNA preparations in as little as 2 minutes. The D4013 is the 50-prep format with capped Zymo-Spin™ IC columns — ideal for labs that prefer labeled or secured columns for easy sample tracking. Up to 5 µg of DNA can be purified per prep with a minimum elution volume of just 6 µL and zero wash residue carryover.

Comprehensive Contaminant Removal The DCC-5 facilitates removal of a broad range of contaminants in a single cleanup step including: DNA polymerases, modifying enzymes, RNA polymerases, ligases, kinases, nucleases, phosphatases, restriction endonucleases, free dNTPs and their analogs (including radiolabeled and fluorescent derivatives), salts, and primers. The result is ultra-pure DNA with A260/A280 > 1.8, ready for the most sensitive downstream applications.

Zero Buffer Retention — Maximum Yield in Minimum Volume Zymo-Spin™ IC columns are specifically engineered for complete elution with no buffer retention or carryover. This means every microliter of your precious elution buffer delivers DNA — no volume lost to column dead space. Elute in as little as 6 µL of DNA Elution Buffer or water for maximum concentration.

Capped Zymo-Spin™ IC Columns The D4013 uses capped Zymo-Spin™ IC columns, which many researchers prefer for easy labeling, secure sample identification during processing, and added protection against evaporation or contamination between steps. The uncapped equivalent is D4003 (50 preps) — the column matrix, binding capacity, and performance are identical between both formats.
