The Zymo Research D4203 ZymoPURE II™ Plasmid Maxiprep Kit is the fastest and simplest plasmid maxiprep kit available, delivering up to 3 mg of transfection-grade, endotoxin-free plasmid DNA from up to 150 mL of E. coli culture in under 18 minutes. Designed for demanding applications including transfection, CRISPR, lentiviral vector production, and in vivo studies, the ZymoPURE II sets a new standard for speed, yield, and DNA purity at the maxiprep scale.

Patented Binding System — Faster, Higher Yields Unlike traditional gravity-flow maxiprep columns, the ZymoPURE II uses a patented binding chemistry in combination with modified alkaline lysis to dramatically accelerate processing. Plasmid DNA binds rapidly to the Zymo-Spin™ V-PX Column using either vacuum or centrifugation — eliminating the slow gravity flow step that makes conventional maxipreps so time-consuming. There is no alcohol precipitation step required, and elution is performed directly into a microcentrifuge tube for immediate use.

Highly Concentrated, Transfection-Ready DNA The ZymoPURE II delivers highly concentrated plasmid DNA — up to 6 µg/µL directly from the spin column — with typical purity of A260/280 ≥ 1.8 and A260/230 ≥ 2.0. Endotoxin levels are ≤ 0.025 EU/µg, making the eluted DNA suitable for the most sensitive downstream applications including primary cell transfection, stem cell work, lentivirus and AAV production, and in vivo delivery.

Color-Coded Buffers for Error-Free Processing The ZymoPURE II Plasmid Maxiprep kit contains colored buffers that permit error-free visualization and identification of complete bacterial cell lysis and neutralization — a practical safeguard that eliminates a common source of failed preps, particularly valuable for less experienced users or high-throughput environments.
