Measure temperature and manage vacuum or inert gas through the same neck. This BEVEL-SEAL inlet adapter adds a side hose connection to an adjustable compression thermometer port, saving a flask neck and simplifying air-sensitive and vacuum setups. It is a favorite for Schlenk-style work.

Each adapter has a standard taper inner joint (14/10 to 29/42), a side hose barb for 1/8, 1/4 or 3/8 in tubing, and a threaded top with an FKM O-ring and 410119 cap rated to 150 °C. Stems from 2 to 11 mm are accepted depending on size. Replace the O-ring with a PTFE-lined septum to use it as a septum port.
