Product Description
Distillation runs smoothly when vapor flows cleanly from condenser to receiver and you can pull vacuum at the same point. This KONTES 105 degree bend does both, linking the condenser to the receiving flask while providing a barbed take-off for vacuum or venting.
This listing is for Kimble catalog number 205500-2942: KONTES 105° Distillation Bent, With Vacuum Take-Off and Inner Hose Connection, 29/42 mm. The bend is made from low-extractable, 33 expansion borosilicate glass meeting USP Type I and ASTM E438 Type I, Class A. It has a standard taper outer joint at the top and a matching inner joint with a drip tip at the bottom, so both joints are the same size. A barbed hose connection serves as the vacuum take-off. Sizes are 14/20, 19/22, 24/40 and 29/42. LIGHT LABS supplies the complete DWK Life Sciences line, including Kimble, Wheaton and DURAN labware.
Key Features
- 105 degree angle – Directs distillate from condenser to receiver.
- Vacuum take-off – Barbed hose connection for vacuum or venting.
- Drip tip – Prevents distillate from running along the joint.
- Matched joints – Top and bottom joints are the same size.
- Type I borosilicate – USP Type I and ASTM E438 Type I, Class A glass.
