The Type I borosilicate glass 3.3 bottle is coated outside with polyamide 12, which resists chemicals and scratches and gives a secure, non-sticky grip. On sizes up to 2000 mL the coating also provides leak and splinter protection. The coating is cleanroom certified. Bottles come without cap in 25 mL to 5 liter sizes with GL threads.
