These crucibles are low extractable 33 expansion borosilicate glass meeting USP Type I and ASTM E438. Choose fine, 4.5 to 5 microns; medium, 10 to 15 microns; or coarse, 40 to 60 microns, in 15 or 30 mL sizes. They dry precipitates to constant weight at 110 C. For higher temperatures use an electric furnace, avoid sudden changes and cool below 250 C before removing.
