Product Description
Condense low-boiling solvents and gases that a water-cooled condenser cannot handle. Filled with dry ice and acetone or other cold mixtures, a Dewar-style condenser delivers rapid condensation of volatile components such as ammonia and other liquefied reagents, keeping them in the reaction instead of lost to the fume hood.
This listing is for Kimble catalog number 457750-2425: KONTES Dewar Condenser, 650 mL. The cold well holds the coolant, and a full-length standard taper side arm at the top connects to the apparatus. The lower joint works with 675500 Kem-Klamps or 675300 polyacetal clamps. Choose a 200 mL model with 14/20 joints or a 650 mL model with 24/40 joints. Glass is low extractable 33 expansion borosilicate. LIGHT LABS supplies the complete DWK Life Sciences line, including Kimble, Wheaton and DURAN labware.
