Outgassing can limit the vacuum you reach, so this straight valve uses a CTFE plug, which offers improved outgassing behavior compared with PTFE. It keeps the same fine threaded control as other HI-VAC valves and seals without grease, making it a good fit for clean, demanding vacuum work.
