Which Configuration Is Right for Your Lab?
4-channel is ideal for labs that need faster throughput than a single-channel pipette but don't require full 8- or 12-column plate processing — perfect for PCR setup, gel loading, partial plate transfers, and workflows where independent control of individual channels is important. The 4-channel is also a natural fit for strip tubes and partial plate formats.
8-channel is the standard for column-by-column 96-well plate processing and is compatible with 8-column and 8-row plate formats. It's the workhorse choice for high-throughput molecular biology, ELISA, and cell culture workflows.
12-channel processes an entire 96-well plate row at once — 12 wells per aspiration — making it the fastest option for full-plate transfers, reagent additions across an entire row, and high-throughput assays where plate processing speed is the priority.
1200 µL models (P5204-1M, P5208-1M, P5212-1M) are designed for deep-well plate transfers and other large-volume applications, filling a gap previously served only by single-channel pipettes or manual dispensing. Their range of 120–1200 µL covers the most common deep-well plate working volumes.
