This Zymo Research kit isolates cellular and cell-free DNA from up to 40 ml of urine and includes a stabilizer that lets samples sit at ambient temperature for up to one month before processing.
This listing is for catalog number D3061: Quick-DNA Urine Kit, 50 Preps. Urine Conditioning Buffer is added at collection to stabilize nucleic acids and later acts as a precipitation reagent. Clearing Beads are added, the sample is vortexed and centrifuged, and the pellet is lysed and digested. DNA is then purified and concentrated on Zymo-Spin IC-S columns, ready for qPCR, arrays and methylation analysis.
