This listing is for catalog number D6421-PS4: Quick-16S Plus NGS Library Prep Kit (V3-V4, UDI) with Primer Set 4. A single qPCR/PCR step amplifies the V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene and adds barcodes at the same time using specially designed primers. Samples are then pooled by equal volume and the combined library receives one clean-up, rather than many bead purifications. Extra quantification by TapeStation or gel is not needed. Eight primer sets are available to scale multiplexing across large studies. LIGHT LABS stocks the Zymo Research line, so kits, buffers and refills are always within reach.
