Product Description
Get more capacity and the same precise control. The Benchmark Scientific H2206-250 myTemp HC Heating and Cooling Incubator offers 250 liters of programmable, refrigerated incubation space for labs running large sample loads, long-term stability studies, or several protocols at once. Its -10°C to 60°C range covers sub-zero holds, 4°C cold storage, BOD testing at 20°C, and 37°C culture work, all with ±0.2°C accuracy and stability.
Advanced mechanical convection keeps temperature uniform to ±0.5°C at 22°C and ±1°C at 4°C across the tall chamber. Store up to 20 programs of 20 steps each and repeat any program up to 99 times to automate cycling, ramping, and multi-stage protocols. The large full-color display shows real-time temperature graphs, onboard memory logs your run data, and customizable security settings protect programs from changes. A built-in timer runs from 1 minute to 100 hours, or continuously.
The stainless steel chamber includes interior lighting, a large viewing window for checking samples without opening the door, and an access port for probes or cables. Cooling uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant with low global warming potential. Three shelves come standard, with room for up to 20. LIGHT LABS carries the full myTemp HC line, along with expert support for Benchmark Scientific equipment.

WHY CHOOSE A HEATING AND COOLING INCUBATOR?
Heating-Only Incubator: Can only hold temperatures above room temperature, typically ambient +5°C and up
Heating and Cooling Incubator: Holds any setpoint from -10°C to 60°C, regardless of room temperature. That makes it essential for BOD testing, insect and plant studies, stability testing, and any protocol at or below ambient.
APPLICATIONS
- BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) incubation
- Microbiology at 20–30°C and refrigerated temperatures
- Stability and shelf-life testing
- Temperature cycling and multi-step protocols
- Insect, plant, and environmental studies
- Sample freezing, cold storage, and drying
- Life science, R&D, and industrial laboratories
