Thin, uniform wells move heat quickly so every reaction across the plate sees the same cycling profile. These Axygen® 96-well PCR microplates fit standard 0.2 mL thermal cycler blocks and are available in a half-skirt format and a low-profile format for smaller reaction volumes.

Plates are molded from 99.9% pure virgin polypropylene, are RNase-/DNase-free and nonpyrogenic, and ship nonsterile without lids. A double-notch corner aids orientation, and wells can be sealed with 8- or 12-strip caps, sealing mats or adhesive film; the low-profile plate (100 µL wells) is compatible with ABI cyclers.
