The tape is chemically, abrasion and puncture resistant, blocks vapor loss and reduces the rate of gas exchange. It stays flexible down to -30°C, withstands continuous exposure from -40°C to 77°C with intermittent exposure to 100°C, and in testing left no adhesive residue after two years.
