Samples are collected and stabilized in the included DNA/RNA Shield, which inactivates infectious agents and supports ambient-temperature storage. You can recover total nucleic acid in a single elution or split DNA and RNA into separate elutions. Nucleic acids are eluted in 50 µl or more of DNase/RNase-Free Water.
