The most hinged-box storage per rack, with every box a single pull away. The Crystal Technology & Industries UFDHT-36 Upright Freezer Drawer Rack holds 18 100-cell hinged plastic storage boxes in six pull-out drawers, three boxes deep per drawer. Pull out one drawer to bring a full row forward, then slide it back in without disturbing the boxes above or below.
Each compartment is 2 3/16" high and 6 1/8" wide, sized for standard 100-cell hinged lid plastic storage boxes. Because only one drawer is open at a time, the rest of your samples stay cold while you work. The rack is built from pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel with double welds and smoothed edges, so it stays rigid and corrosion-free at -80°C and is comfortable to handle with cryo gloves. An optional security lock device is available separately.
