Each stopcock plug has a metering groove for fine adjustment of vacuum and gas flow. Stopcocks are spaced 65 mm apart on the 3-position model and 100 mm apart on the 5-position model, and pressure/vacuum retainers are supplied. The manifold is made from low-extractable, 33 expansion borosilicate glass meeting USP Type I and ASTM E438 Type I, Class A, in 230 or 500 mm widths.
