This listing is for catalog number D5013-2: Human WGA Methylated DNA, 5 µg/20 µl. Both DNAs are produced by phi29-based whole genome amplification of genomic DNA from the HCT116 DKO cell line, a process that leaves the copies free of methylation. The methylated version is then treated with M.SssI methyltransferase to modify every double-stranded CG site. Purpose-built primers are included, and the set pairs with the EZ DNA Methylation, Methylation-Gold, Methylation-Direct, and Methylation-Lightning kits.
