- keeps microtubes afloat in a water bath or can be pushed into crushed ice — perfect for controlling sample temperature.
- detachable legs provide two options: - attach legs so rack stands upright on bench top - detach legs so samples can be quickly popped out by pushing down onto any surface
- not recommended for autoclaving
