The opaque white well walls deliver superior fluorescence reflectance compared to clear or natural plates — reflecting significantly more signal back to the qPCR instrument's detector, enhancing sensitivity, and reducing well-to-well variability in fluorescence detection. White well walls also prevent signal from passing through to the thermal cycler block, eliminating signal absorption and reflection artifacts introduced by block color variations.
The P9384-W is designed in the Roche® compatible two-notch format (cut corners at A24 and P24) for compatibility with a wide range of 384-well thermal cyclers and sequencers. The fully skirted design provides maximum rigidity and compatibility with automated platforms, robotic plate grippers, and plate stackers.
