LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Crystal Technology & Industries Stainless Steel Vertical Freezer Rack for Standard 2" Boxes (Cat # CF-10-2). This rugged vertical rack stores ten standard 2" freezer boxes in a single column, stacked 10 boxes high. It lowers straight down into laboratory chest freezers and liquid nitrogen (LN2) freezers. It organizes ultra-low and cryogenic storage, so samples are easier to find and retrieve, freezer space is better used, and the lid stays open for less time.
The CF-10-2 is made of pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel with double-welded joints for strength and long-term durability at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures. All edges are smoothed for safe handling, even with cryogenic gloves. Each of the ten compartments measures 2 3/16" x 5 5/16" x 5 3/8", which accepts standard 2" cryoboxes and freezer boxes in fiberboard, cardboard, or plastic. A built-in handle at the top of the rack makes lifting it in and out of the freezer quick and easy.
The CF-10-2 is sold as a rack only. Storage boxes are not included, so you can use your existing 2" boxes. Pre-configured versions with 2" boxes and 81-cell or 100-cell dividers are also available.
