The Stripettor® Pro Pipet Controller is a light, ergonomic motorized pipet controller designed for use with glass and plastic serological pipets from 0.5 mL to 100 mL. Engineered for comfort and sample safety, the Stripettor Pro features a large LCD display, six customizable speed settings, and a lithium-ion battery providing up to 6 hours of continuous use — making it one of the most capable and user-friendly pipet controllers available for routine cell culture, liquid handling, and general laboratory work. The Cat. 4999 includes the Stripettor® Pro charging stand, a universal power supply, a 0.2 µm filter, and a wall hanger.
Light and Ergonomic Design The Stripettor Pro is built for all-day use. Its lightweight construction and ergonomically positioned controls minimize hand fatigue during extended pipetting sessions. Conveniently located switches allow the user to change operating modes and speeds quickly without repositioning their grip — critical when handling different liquid volumes and viscosities across multiple samples.
Large LCD Display — Always Know Your Status The Stripettor Pro's large LCD display provides continuous visualization of three key parameters at a glance: current speed level, dispense mode, and battery charge status. The battery indicator displays three bars when fully charged and provides clear warning when recharging is needed — eliminating the frustration of unexpected power loss mid-experiment.
Six Speed Levels for Every Application Two speed modes — LOW and HIGH — each offer three selectable speed values (L1/L2/L3 and H1/H2/H3), giving the user six total speed settings that can be customized to match the specific liquid volume and viscosity being handled. LOW speeds (L1–L3) are recommended for pipets up to 5 mL; HIGH speeds (H1–H3) are recommended for pipets greater than 5 mL. Speed settings are adjusted directly via the Speed button and are retained between uses.
Two Dispense Modes Two dispense modes allow selection of dispensing intensity depending on the application — providing precise control over liquid delivery for different volumes and viscosities. Aspirating and dispensing speed is controlled through the finger triggers for intuitive, responsive handling.
Up to 6 Hours of Continuous Use The built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 6 hours of continuous pipetting when fully charged. The controller automatically powers off after 5 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life. Charging is performed with the included universal charger (input: AC 100–240V, 50/60 Hz) — compatible with USA, EU, GBR, KOR, and AUS outlet adapters, making it suitable for international laboratory use.
Autoclavable Filter for Sample Protection The included 0.2 µm membrane filter (PP/PTFE construction) protects the pipet controller from liquid vapor contamination and can be sterilized by autoclaving at 121°C for up to 15 minutes. The filter is field-replaceable when performance deteriorates after extended use. The Stripettor Pro also features a direct liquid vapor exhaustion system that actively protects internal components from corrosion for extended instrument life.
Compatible with 0.5 mL to 100 mL Serological Pipets The Stripettor Pro works with all standard glass and plastic serological pipets in the 0.5 mL to 100 mL range — including Stripette® serological pipets. The silicone pipet holder and connector gasket provide a secure, leak-free seal across this full volume range.
