AirSoft900 is Hourglass's soft, strong, reliable everyday nitrile exam glove, built for labs, clinics, and facilities that need dependable protection with all-day comfort. The soft blue nitrile is extra thick in the finger area (5.5 mil), where gloves wear and tear first, while a thinner 3.1 mil palm keeps the glove flexible and comfortable without losing tactile sensitivity.
AirSoft900 gloves combine comfort with strength, with a high tensile strength of 43 MPa for excellent puncture and tear resistance. Textured fingertips give a secure grip on instruments, tubes, and slippery surfaces, and the chlorinated, powder-free finish makes donning easy without powder residue. The gloves are not made with natural rubber latex, which eliminates the risk of Type I latex allergy reactions.
For protection, AirSoft900 gloves are tested for permeation by chemotherapy drugs (ASTM D6978). They meet ASTM D6319 for nitrile examination gloves and ASTM F1671 for viral penetration. They are FDA 510(k) cleared and USP 800 compliant for handling hazardous drugs. They are latex-free, powder-free, ambidextrous, and non-sterile.
