The defining innovation of the BV1007 vs. all other BenchMixer models is its automatic holder recognition function — a built-in sensor system that detects which sample holder is installed on the platform and automatically adjusts the maximum speed setting accordingly. This critical safety and performance feature ensures that the appropriate maximum vortexing speed for the specific holder and vessel format in use is never exceeded — preventing excessive speeds that could damage microplates, spill samples, or create safety hazards during high-speed vortexing of different vessel formats.
