This compact 2-position instrument is built for simultaneous incubation and mixing of microplates. It heats from ambient +5°C to 70°C and mixes at 100 to 1200 RPM. The Incu-Mixer™ MP2 combines a plate incubator and a plate shaker in one small benchtop unit, so it suits ELISA and immunoassays, enzyme kinetics, cell-based assays, and other temperature-sensitive microplate protocols.
The defining feature of the Incu-Mixer™ MP2 is dual-zone heating. The plates are heated from both the bottom surface and the lid at the same time. That keeps temperature uniform throughout every well, within ±0.5°C, and the heated lid prevents condensation from forming on plate seals and lids. Temperature is set in 0.1°C increments with ±0.2°C accuracy. A tight 2 mm orbit gives vigorous mixing in small well volumes while keeping splashing and cross-contamination to a minimum. Speed is adjustable in 10 RPM increments.
Time, temperature, and speed are controlled independently. A large LCD display shows all parameters in real time, and an internal validation system confirms that the unit is holding its setpoints. The timer runs from 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes or continuously. The unit runs on a universal 100–240V power supply and carries a 2-year warranty.
