LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Benchmark Scientific Incu-Shaker™ 10LR Refrigerated Shaking Incubator (Cat # H2012). It is the heating-and-cooling version of the popular Incu-Shaker™ 10L. The H2012 adds a CFC-free refrigeration system to the same high-capacity 17.8" x 17.8" platform, so you can run cultures at temperatures down to 12°C below ambient as well as up to 60°C. That makes it a strong choice for below-ambient and reduced-temperature recombinant protein expression, temperature-sensitive cultures, and labs whose room temperature drifts above their target setpoint. It holds up to five 2L Erlenmeyer flasks.
The H2012 shares the proven Incu-Shaker™ performance platform. A powerful brushless induction drive is built for continuous, heavy-load operation. A motor isolation system minimizes noise and vibration. Speed runs from 30 to 300 RPM in 1 RPM increments on a 19 mm orbit for efficient aeration. Temperature control is digitally regulated with ±0.1°C accuracy and ±1.25°C uniformity. A color touchscreen gives direct control of speed, temperature, and time. The built-in timer runs from 1 minute to 48 hours or continuously. The Program STEP feature links consecutive programs, so you can automate multi-stage protocols such as growth at 37°C followed by induction at a lower temperature.
The H2012 ships with an 18" x 18" non-slip rubber mat platform for culture flasks, petri dishes, and staining trays. For Erlenmeyer flasks and tube racks, the optional H1010-MR MAGic Clamp™ universal platform allows tool-free, magnetic changes of flask clamps and tube racks in seconds. Microprocessor control with constant monitoring and over-temperature and over-speed protection keeps your samples safe. The unit is 115V with a 2-year warranty.
