LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Benchmark Scientific Incu-Shaker™ 20LR Refrigerated Stackable Shaking Incubator (Cat # H3022). It is the heating-and-cooling version of the high-throughput Incu-Shaker™ 20L. A powerful built-in compressor cools the chamber to as much as 20°C below ambient, down to a minimum of 4°C. Heating goes up to 60°C. That full range in one unit makes the H3022 well suited to low-temperature protein expression, cold-sensitive cultures, and workflows that move between growth and induction temperatures. The front-loading, high-grade stainless steel chamber holds up to four 5L Erlenmeyer flasks on a 17.8" x 17.8" platform. Two units can be stacked to double capacity in the same footprint.
The H3022 is driven by a brushless induction motor built for continuous, heavy-load operation. An advanced, computer-designed motor isolation system minimizes noise and vibration, even with two units stacked. Speed runs from 30 to 300 RPM in 1 RPM increments on a 19 mm orbit for efficient aeration. Temperature is set in 0.1°C increments with ±0.1°C accuracy and ±1.25°C uniformity. A color touchscreen controls speed, temperature, and time. The advanced STEP programming mode changes parameters at timed intervals, for example a 37°C growth phase followed by an automatic drop to 18°C for overnight induction. The timer runs from 1 minute to 48 hours or continuously.
The H3022 comes ready to use. It includes an 18" x 18" non-slip rubber mat platform, an adjustable pull-out shelf for static incubation of petri dishes and culture plates, stacking brackets, and a reversible door for left- or right-hand access. For Erlenmeyer flasks and tube racks, the optional H1010-MR MAGic Clamp™ universal platform allows tool-free, magnetic changes of flask clamps and tube racks. The unit is 115V with a 2-year warranty.
