The Roto-Therm™ is the ideal single-instrument solution for temperature-sensitive rotation applications — eliminating the need for a separate water bath, heating block, or incubator alongside the rotator, and eliminating the space, cost, and workflow complications of maintaining tubes at temperature in external equipment while simultaneously rotating them.
The defining advantage of the H2020 over the R2020 is the integration of precise digital temperature control directly into the rotating chamber. The digitally programmable controller maintains the chamber at the set temperature with a resolution of 0.1°C and includes an in-lab calibration function for verifying and correcting the temperature reading against a reference thermometer — ensuring accurate, reproducible temperature control across all protocol steps and all production lots. For applications where temperature matters — proteinase K digestion, RNase inhibition, antibody binding, hybridization at elevated temperatures, enzyme incubations, and cell lysis at defined temperatures — the Roto-Therm™ eliminates the temperature variability associated with rotating tubes in external incubators or water baths.
Like the R2020, the H2020 features adjustable rotation orientation — simply twist the rotisserie panel to switch between vertical end-over-end and horizontal rolling/hybridization modes — and includes the same comprehensive set of interchangeable tube holders covering 0.5 mL through 50 mL.
