The defining advantage of the RotoMini™ vs. rockers and rollers is its true rotational mixing — tubes rotate continuously through the full 360° of vertical or horizontal orientation, ensuring that samples at every position in the tube are continuously inverted and re-mixed with every revolution. This is particularly important for applications where settling would otherwise occur between agitation cycles — including bead-based assays (Protein A/G, magnetic beads, IMAC beads), nucleic acid binding to silica columns, cell pellet resuspension, and any incubation where maintained homogeneity throughout the full incubation period is critical for reproducible results.
