The four programmable mixing modes of the H2024 represent a dramatic expansion of mixing flexibility beyond the single-speed rotation of the H2020. Standard Rotate mode provides continuous 360° rotation at any user-selected speed from 5 to 70 RPM — the broadest speed range available for precisely matching rotation speed to protocol requirements. Mix mode combines continuous rotation with superimposed oscillations — increasing mixing intensity beyond what pure rotation achieves, ideal for particularly stubborn bead resuspensions, high-viscosity samples, or applications requiring more vigorous agitation at temperature. Pause mode provides rotation with programmable intermittent stops — allowing samples to settle partially between rotations before being resuspended, useful for certain binding assays and sedimentation-based protocols. Rock mode converts the platform to a gentle see-saw rocking motion — providing the gentlest possible temperature-controlled agitation for highly sensitive samples, fragile cells, or applications where continuous rotation would be excessive.
