Traditional serological pipets have a straight cylindrical plug end that creates only a single zone of contact with the pipet controller nozzle — allowing the pipet to wobble, drip, and require more force to insert. The Wobble-not™ patented 2-tier step design creates two distinct zones of contact — one at each tier — dramatically increasing stability, virtually eliminating dripping, and reducing the insertion force required to seat the pipet securely.
Like the 50mL Wobble-not™ (229094B), the 25mL 229093B features the exclusive negative graduation markings down to -10mL — a feature unique to CELLTREAT's 25mL and 50mL Wobble-not pipets that allows researchers to draw more than the nominal 25mL volume when needed. Bi-directional (positive and negative) graduations at 0.5mL increments are printed in bold, easy-to-read ink with a printed indicator arrow for quickly locating negative graduations when using a pipet controller. Green color-coded stripes on both the pipet body and the individual paper/plastic wrapper enable instant 25mL volume identification. A porous polypropylene filter plug at the plug end prevents contamination of the pipet controller while maintaining secure, airtight contact with the controller nozzle.
