ZAP™ Patented Aerosol Filter — Robotically Inserted 10µm Polyethylene Filter Matrix Incorporating a robotically inserted 10 µm filter with a sponge-like porous pathway ZAP Slik tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over-pipet. The ZAP™ filter is robotically inserted into every tip during manufacturing — ensuring consistent, reliable aerosol protection in every tip across every rack. The 10µm average pore size captures aerosol droplets, biological particles, and radioactive nucleotides before they can reach the pipettor barrel. At 1200µL volumes where large-volume aspiration creates higher aerosol generation pressure than smaller tip formats, the ZAP™ filter's robust 10µm pore barrier is especially critical for protecting high-value research pipettors.

No Cellulose Gum, Toluene, or Colored Dyes — Pure Filter, Zero Sample Interference ZAP Slik Aerosol Filter Pipet Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination. But unlike some leading brands of self sealing aerosol resistant pipet tips they have no cellulose gum, toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample.  The ZAP™ filter contains only pure high-molecular-weight polyethylene — completely inert to all common aqueous laboratory reagents, buffers, and biological solutions encountered in 1000–1200µL pipetting workflows.

ZAP™ Filter Will Not Wick Fluids — Safe at Any Pipettor Angle ZAP tips will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistant tips so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor.  The ZAP™ hydrophobic polyethylene filter does not absorb or wick liquid along the filter matrix at any working angle — eliminating the risk of liquid migration toward the pipettor barrel even during inverted or tilted large-volume pipetting operations.

SuperSlik® Low Retention Polypropylene — Up to 10 Times Less Fluid Retention Our SuperSlik polypropylene increases the hydrophobicity of tips surfaces so they have up to 10 times less fluid retention. At 1200µL volumes, liquid retained on the inner tip surface after dispensing directly affects delivered volume accuracy, costly reagent consumption, and downstream assay performance. SuperSlik® polypropylene's highly hydrophobic surface minimizes liquid adhesion — maximizing delivered volume accuracy and maximizing recovery of costly large-volume reagents including enzyme master mixes, serum, cell culture media, and large-volume buffer preparations.

ISO 11137 Sterile — Valid for Diagnostic and Regulated Use Our ZAP tips in sterile racks, like all our other sterile products, receive valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137.
