POLYCARBONATE CONSTRUCTION -- EXCEPTIONAL CLARITY AND DURABILITY
Plant tissue culture vessels must balance sterility, gas permeability,
visibility, and durability through repeated autoclave cycles. The
B3075 polycarbonate box addresses each requirement:
VISIBILITY: Clear polycarbonate provides optical clarity that allows
researchers and propagators to visually assess culture status --
contamination, callus development, shoot emergence, root formation,
and media consumption -- without opening the lid. Opaque or
semi-transparent vessels require opening to assess culture status,
increasing contamination risk.
AUTOCLAVABILITY: Polycarbonate withstands repeated autoclave cycles
(121°C, 15 psi) without warping, cracking, or loss of clarity --
unlike single-use or heat-sensitive culture vessels. The PP lid also
withstands repeated autoclaving. Reusable for multiple culture cycles.
SECURE LID: The secure-fitting PP lid maintains a controlled internal
environment during incubation -- preventing desiccation, maintaining
humidity, and reducing contamination risk from airborne particulates.
MAGENTA GA-7-3 COMPARABLE -- 3 x 3 x 3 in. FORMAT:
The B3075 3 x 3 x 3 in. dimensions compare directly to the Magenta
GA-7-3 box -- the smaller of the two standard Magenta formats widely
used in plant tissue culture labs. The GA-7 (3 x 3 x 4 in., taller)
