Designed for plant tissue culture, micropropagation, and in vitro
plant growth applications. The taller 3 x 3 x 4 in. format compares
to the Magenta GA-7 box -- the most widely used standard plant tissue
culture vessel in research and commercial propagation labs. Clear
polycarbonate provides exceptional visibility for monitoring culture
development without opening the vessel. Secure-fitting polypropylene
lid maintains controlled culture conditions. Withstands repeated

MAGENTA GA-7 COMPARABLE -- THE STANDARD PLANT TISSUE CULTURE VESSEL
The 3 x 3 x 4 in. GA-7 format is the de facto standard vessel for
plant tissue culture -- the taller profile accommodates elongating
shoots, developing plantlets, and taller explant materials that do
not fit in the 3 x 3 x 3 in. GA-7-3 format:
- Shoot elongation stage: taller vessels allow shoots to reach
full elongation without being compressed against the lid --
important for species with vigorous shoot growth
- Rooting stage: deeper media volume and vertical space allows
roots to develop without circling or compressing against the
vessel bottom
- Multi-node explants and stem segments: longer explant materials
that require vertical orientation fit in the taller GA-7 format
but not the shorter GA-7-3
- Standard protocols: the vast majority of published plant tissue
culture protocols specify GA-7 boxes -- B3100 is the direct
drop-in replacement
POLYCARBONATE CONSTRUCTION -- CLARITY AND DURABILITY:
VISIBILITY: Clear polycarbonate allows visual assessment of culture
status -- contamination, callus development, shoot emergence, root
formation, and media consumption -- without opening the lid and
risking contamination.
AUTOCLAVABILITY: Polycarbonate withstands repeated autoclave cycles
(121°C, 15 psi) without warping, cracking, or loss of clarity.
Reusable for multiple culture cycles. PP lid also autoclavable.
SECURE LID: Maintains controlled internal environment during
incubation -- preventing desiccation and reducing contamination
risk from airborne particulates.
