LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Crystal Technology & Industries Stainless Steel Vertical Freezer Rack for Standard 2" Boxes (Cat # CF-7-2). This mid-size vertical rack stores seven standard 2" freezer boxes in a single column, stacked 7 boxes high. At 15 11/16" tall, it is a popular all-around size for standard chest freezers and mid-size LN2 dewars. It gives good capacity while staying light and easy to handle, and it also works well for project- or user-specific sample racks.
The CF-7-2 is made of the same pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel as Crystal's full-height vertical racks, with double-welded joints for strength and long-term durability at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures. All edges are smoothed for safe handling, even with cryogenic gloves. Each of the seven compartments measures 2 3/16" x 5 5/16" x 5 3/8" and accepts standard 2" cryoboxes and freezer boxes in fiberboard, cardboard, or plastic. A built-in handle makes the rack easy to lift in and out of the freezer.
The CF-7-2 is sold as a rack only. Storage boxes are not included, so you can use your existing 2" boxes. For added sample security, an optional lock device is sold separately. LIGHT LABS is your trusted source for laboratory freezer racks and cold storage solutions.
