The Zymo Research Genomic DNA Clean & Concentrator®-25 D4064 is a 25-preparation large-capacity genomic DNA cleanup and concentration kit — a spin column gDNA clean up kit that provides quick (5 minute) recovery of ultra-pure, large-sized DNA (e.g., genomic, mitochondrial, plasmid (BAC/PAC), viral, phage, (wga) DNA, etc.) from any enzymatic reaction or impure preparation (e.g., Proteinase K digestion). There is no need for organic denaturants, chloroform, or messy precipitations: simply add the specially formulated ChIP DNA Binding Buffer to a sample and then transfer the mixture to the supplied Zymo-Spin Column. Eluted DNA is suitable for sequencing, PCR, endonuclease digestion, and other enzymatic procedures. 25µg DNA Binding Capacity — 5× More Than Standard DCC-5 DNA Recovery — Typically, up to 25 µg total DNA per column can be eluted into ≥35 µl of low salt DNA Elution Buffer or water. The 25µg binding capacity of the Zymo-Spin™ IIC-XLR Column in the D4064 is 5× the capacity of the standard DCC-5 (5µg) — accommodating the larger DNA mass present in genomic DNA cleanup workflows, whole genome amplification product cleanup, and large restriction digest purifications. 

ChIP DNA Binding Buffer — Specially Formulated for Large Genomic DNA The D4064 uses ChIP DNA Binding Buffer rather than the standard DNA Binding Buffer of the DCC-5 — a specially formulated buffer designed to efficiently bind large, high molecular weight genomic DNA to the Zymo-Spin™ IIC-XLR Column without the shearing or fragmentation that can occur when standard PCR cleanup binding buffers are applied to large DNA molecules. The ChIP DNA Binding Buffer is also optimized for chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) samples — making the D4064 the recommended cleanup kit for ChIP DNA purification from any step in a standard ChIP workflow.

No Organic Denaturants or Precipitations — Simple 5-Minute Protocol There is no need for organic denaturants, chloroform, or messy precipitations: simply add the specially formulated ChIP DNA Binding Buffer to a sample and then transfer the mixture to the supplied Zymo-Spin Column.
