Zymo-Spin™ V Column with Reservoir — Large-Volume Sample Loading The Zymo-Spin™ V Column with Reservoir is the defining hardware innovation of the DCC-100. The maximum capacity of the Reservoir is 15mL. The integrated reservoir allows direct loading of sample-buffer mixtures up to 15mL per load without requiring multiple centrifugation cycles to load the full sample — dramatically simplifying the loading step for large-volume samples such as large-scale PCR reaction pools, large restriction digest volumes, and cell-free lysate preparations. Up to 100µg DNA per Prep — Large-Scale Purification Capacity Typically, ≤100µg total DNA can be eluted with ≥150µl of low salt DNA Elution Buffer or water. The 100µg binding capacity of the D4029 is 20× the capacity of the standard DCC-5 (5µg) — making it the appropriate choice for large PCR reaction pools, scale-up experiments, preparative restriction digests, and any workflow where the total DNA mass exceeds what smaller DCC formats can accommodate. The 150µL minimum elution volume reflects the larger column matrix volume required to bind and elute 100µg of DNA while maintaining high purity.
