LIGHT LABS is proud to offer the Benchmark Scientific Orbi-Shaker™ CO2 XL (Cat # BT4011) — the high-capacity format of the Orbi-Shaker™ CO2 series, combining all the purpose-built CO2 incubator features of the standard BT4001 with a significantly larger 16" x 16.5" platform that simultaneously accommodates up to 5 x 2L or 9 x 1L Erlenmeyer flasks. The BT4011 is the definitive orbital shaker for high-throughput cell culture and protein expression labs requiring maximum flask capacity inside a CO2 incubator — providing nearly 2.5x more platform work surface than the standard BT4001 (13" x 12") while delivering the same CO2-specific design features that make it safe, reliable, and contamination-free in incubator environments.
Like the BT4001, the Orbi-Shaker™ CO2 XL is purpose-built for CO2 incubator and extreme environment operation — not a standard benchtop orbital shaker placed inside an incubator. The included remote controller allows complete speed and timer adjustment from outside the incubator through a flat cable that passes through the incubator door seal without creating CO2 leakage gaps — maintaining the CO2 atmosphere, temperature equilibrium, and sterile conditions inside the chamber at all times. The instrument withstands temperatures from 0°C to 65°C and humidity levels up to 100%, with corrosion-resistant construction for long-term reliability in saturated humidity CO2 incubator environments.
The 16" x 16.5" aluminum platform is supplied with a non-slip rubber mat suitable for low-speed applications (below 120 RPM). For high-speed mixing, the optional MAGic Clamp™ platform accessories enable tool-free magnetic flask clamp exchange. Note: the supplied aluminum platform is not compatible with magnetic MAGic Clamp™ accessories — an optional steel platform (BT4010-MR) designed to attach on top of the supplied aluminum platform is required for MAGic Clamp™ use. The 60.5 inch (154 cm) cord provides flexible placement inside large incubators with external remote controller routing. 2-year warranty.
