This compact, full-featured PCR thermal cycler packs high-end performance into a 9" x 7" footprint that weighs just 6.4 lbs. The 32-well block holds 32 x 0.2 mL tubes or four 8-tube strips, which makes the TC-32 Mini a strong fit for small-batch PCR, teaching labs, field and satellite labs, and anyone who needs a dedicated personal cycler without giving up bench space.
Despite its size, the TC-32 Mini delivers fast, precise thermal cycling. Maximum ramp rates are 5°C per second heating and 4°C per second cooling, the temperature range is 0°C to 99°C, and accuracy and uniformity are both ±0.25°C. Choose block control or simulated sample control, which tracks the actual in-tube sample temperature. A self-adjusting, spring-loaded heated lid, settable from 30°C to 112°C, presses firmly against the tube tops to prevent evaporation and condensation.
The large full-color touchscreen uses familiar icon-driven menus. The Program Wizard makes protocol setup quick and easy. Memory holds over 100 typical programs, and time and temperature increments and decrements support touchdown PCR. Auto pause and restart, power-failure restart, a post-run 4°C sample hold, and an on-screen run report make operation simple and secure. Universal 100–240V power and a 2-year warranty are standard.
