The unique molded divider design creates completely separate compartments while still allowing airflow between them — enabling researchers to compare three organisms or conditions simultaneously in a single dish, maximizing experimental efficiency and significantly reducing consumable and media usage compared to running three separate single-compartment plates.
Each compartment provides 5 mL of working volume and 18.9 cm² of growth area — well suited for robust culture growth and clear visual observation. The lid features three molded spacers that allow gas exchange while maintaining environmental consistency across all three compartments. A ridge on the bottom of the dish allows easy handling and stable stacking.
