Product Description
Precious, limited, and target-enriched samples rarely provide enough DNA for conventional methylation sequencing. This library prep kit builds whole-genome bisulfite sequencing libraries from as little as 10 pg of input, including DNA derived from FFPE material, opening methylome analysis to samples that would otherwise be out of reach.
This listing is for catalog number D5456: Pico Methyl-Seq Library Prep Kit, 25 Preps. Rather than shearing DNA beforehand, the workflow lets the initial bisulfite treatment randomly fragment the input. Converted fragments then go through three rounds of amplification using specially designed primers to produce sequencing-ready libraries. Because adapters are added after conversion, tagged material is not exposed to bisulfite damage. Kits contain 10 or 25 preps. Add it to your LIGHT LABS order and keep your bench stocked.
Key Features
- Ultra-low input – Accommodates as little as 10 pg of DNA.
- FFPE compatible – Works with DNA derived from FFPE samples.
- No pre-shearing – Bisulfite treatment fragments the DNA randomly.
- Streamlined workflow – Three amplification rounds with specially designed primers build the library.
- Two kit sizes – Offered as 10 or 25 preps.
